TytoCare is an FDA cleared telemedicine tool kit that provides a clean chain of custody for vital sign data from clinical grade medical devices.
The TytoCare data is HIPAA compliant and secure, and a healthcare professional like a physician or nurse can be virtually present during the exam. That healthcare professional has access to the data directly from the FDA cleared devices, including the connected stethoscope, temp monitor, pulse oximeter, and otoscope.
Through these applicators, TytoCare enables healthcare professionals to examine the patient’s ears, throat, heart, lungs, skin, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and temperature remotely. When the patient puts the otoscope into their ear or tongue depressor into their mouth, the healthcare provider is the one who sees the live video camera feed. The healthcare professional can tell the patient “Please move the otoscope to the right” or “Now move the otoscope a little to the left”, and it’s as if that healthcare professional is reaching their hands through the computer screen to touch the patient.
AI Enabled Diagnostics
TytoCare received CE Mark approval in February of 2022 for their Lung Sounds Analyzer, an AI-enabled diagnostic support tool. Using machine learning, TytoCare’s new algorithms can spot abnormalities in the lungs and throat such as wheezing or inflamed tonsils.
